PRIVACY — FOUNDING PUBLIC BETA

Useful navigation without building a central case database.

Military Disability Navigator™ is operated by Military Disability Navigator LLC. MDN is designed to minimize the personal information it collects and to keep private case work local whenever practical.

Public website analytics

The public website uses first-party site analytics and performance measurement to understand basic traffic, page use, and site speed. MDN does not intentionally send Free Navigator selections, condition labels, ratings, claim facts, Problem Navigator search terms, Life Events selections, or private case answers to analytics.

Local-first interactive tools

Free Navigator, Condition Review, Service History checks, calculators, Problem Navigator search/filtering, and Life Events interactions are designed to run in the browser. These tools do not require an MDN account. Private app tools are also designed around local-first processing; Process Navigator can persist only when the user deliberately creates an encrypted local save.

What MDN does not ask you to upload

MDN does not operate a medical-record upload workflow in the current public beta. Do not enter or submit Social Security numbers, DoD IDs, VA file or claim numbers, full addresses, medical records, passwords, banking information, or other sensitive identifiers into public-beta forms or feedback.

Beta feedback

If you choose to submit beta feedback, the feedback you type is sent to MDN's feedback endpoint so the product can be improved. The feedback form warns users not to include identifiers or private case details. Feedback infrastructure is still being hardened; do not use beta feedback as a place to store records or communicate time-sensitive case information.

Hosting and security metadata

Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, timestamp, requested page or file, browser or user-agent information, and security events as part of delivering and protecting the service. MDN is designed so questionnaire answers and condition wording are not placed in public URLs.

No advertising or behavioral profiling

The current public beta does not use advertising networks, session replay, behavioral advertising profiles, or third-party health-data mining. MDN does not sell user data to advertisers.

Local storage and deletion

Some app preferences and deliberately saved encrypted Process Navigator data may be stored on the user's device. The passphrase for an encrypted local save is not stored by MDN. Local purge controls cannot erase copies a user already printed, exported, screenshotted, backed up, or shared elsewhere.

Future product changes

Accounts, cloud synchronization, record uploads, professional dashboards, health-system integrations, remote AI case processing, materially broader analytics, advertising, or paid subscription workflows would change the data flow and require a new privacy, security, and legal review before activation.
